Get to Know Me

Scott Derksen’s interest in real estate started 40+ years ago when his father became a Realtor®, and it never left him. Scott liked real estate so much that he ended up getting a BS in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate and Land Use from Cal State University, Sacramento. He began his appraising career in 1991 and quickly became one of the most respected appraisers in the area.
 
Scott started working as a Realtor® five years ago. Clients say that his expertise is invaluable and that he continually exceeds their expectations. They remember his professional, knowledgeable presence and communicative nature, and benefit from his masterful analysis of market trends. Scott is also known for being responsive; he’s always available to show his clients a house or answer their questions.
 
Scott is still a Licensed Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and uses his many years of experience to help clients understand the real value of the homes they’re buying and selling. He prides himself on his ability to educate his clients so they can make informed decisions that create results. He makes sure his buyers have every detail about the neighborhoods they’re interested in, right down to the commute times. His sellers rely on him to price their homes, organize pre-inspections and repairs, and oversee staging.
 
The only things Scott enjoys as much as real estate are spending time with his family and coaching mountain biking. When he’s not working, he’s outside. His favorite outdoor activities are biking, hiking, and golf.
